Can LMS monitor 3rd party servers? Customer want LMS to send an e-mail alert when server IP address is unreachable.

Is this possible?

You should monitore that interface to what the server is attached, and monitor it's status. You can do it here: Monitor -> Fault settings -> Setup -> Fault device details. Click onthe switch, view, click on it's name, and set the interface to true.

I would set up an IP SLA. But if you monitor the interface, you monitor the server, too or is it a virtual server?
