Guests are not getting IP & webpage.

I have a 4400  ( 6.0.199.4 ) WLC configured with a guest wlan using web authentication & DHCP is configured on ASA . & ADSL line is connected to ASA ( for internet)...this was working , from last 2 days it is not working. guest users are not to get the IP address & login web page. Error message is Limitted connectivty.

My observation.

------------------------

ADSL linterent connetion is working fine & from ASA to switch connection is fine & VLAN is also up.

from WLAN end, all parameter are looks good, nothing changed.

So you have verified that a wired device can obtain an ip address and access the Internet. If so, maybe something has changed. Have you looked to make sure dhcp proxy is disabled on the wlc and the FW rules have not changed.

run "debug client " on the WLC and paste it here!!

To add to Surendra's post,  if this is Anchored Guest, as in two WLCs involved, run the client debug on BOTH controllers at the same time, capturing the initial association.

What I'd be looking for is to make sure the client is even anchoring properly.  If you dont see any mention of DHCP on the Anchor WLC,  then perhaps the mobility handoff isn't occuring properly (which would typically be a wlan configuration mismatch)....  but I'm probably getting ahead of myself.

You just need to make sure that the Anchor WLC see's a DHCP Request from your client and that it sent it out....

If it sent it and no DHCP response comes back....   sounds like you have a dhcp problem still?

please see the log, which I took from WCS ..it look WLC is receving request from client ...i think it is not getting responce from DHCP ...

it make sence ?

Looks like no dhcp. Create a dhcp scope on the wlc and see of that works. If so, then you know it's the ASA.
