Hi,

I would like to know the IOS which supports :ACL Support for Filtering on TTL Value feature on my Cisco 7600 device.

I check on cisco and found the Cisco 12.4T release but this software doesnt fit onto my chasis.

Checked on the following links:

https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:AssXuC-ynAIJ:www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/sec_data_plane/configuration/guide/sec_accs_list_rmap.pdf+IOS+supports+ACL+Support+for+Filtering+on+TTL+Value&hl=en&gl=in&pid=bl&srcid=ADGEESiZHw5tEP1Gz3XGV93ESSLldxkZH4WKQD0H6pLzS1eRoWhXeXCsuRMGE0EpVJ6p-Dp8uqlCgHdT3J7ikL7ieHBdAzfUTaZqWP3YJ7FtRFIpmR4k9t9wlEZKCEhLrI60SeVZNnsc&sig=AHIEtbSV7kq5X_XYQDktdHYScMqxSSpFXw

But got no luck.

I would appriciate if someone can guide me to which software should I  upgrade to on my cisco 7600 to have this feature would be highly  appriciated.

Thanks in advance.

Fariha,

What do you mean when you say "but this software doesnt fit onto my chasis"?

You don't have enough space in your flash?

Fari,

I don't have a device to test this but according the command reference guide for the 6500, ttl in one of the options:

ttl operator value

(Optional) Compares the TTL value in the packet to the TTL value specified in this permit statement.

The operator can be lt (less than), gt (greater than), eq (equal), neq (not equal), or range (inclusive range).

The value can range from 0 to 255.

If the operator is range, specify two values separated by a space.

For Release 12.0S, if the operator is eq or neq, only one TTL value can be specified.

For all other releases, if the operator is eq or neq, as many as 10 TTL values can be specified, separated by a space.
