I don't understand the question but let me give this a try ...


We have a cheap PC with two USB TV tuners.  The TV runs the proggie to broadcast (wrong term) via multicast the TV channels.  We use VLC to "tune in" to whatever TV channels we've got here.


The PC is then connected to the network via a 1000BaseTx and we enable multicast.  Does this make sense?
