Call comes into main number (Attendant Console) from outside (cell phone or landline). Then transfered to an extension internally, the call goes to a voice mail greating, caller presses 0 but it is not recognised.
If a call originates from inside the network then transfered to an internal extension, eventually reaching voicemail, pressing 0 works.
If a landline or cell phone calls a DID and then reaches a voicemail greating, pressing 0 works fine.
The only problem seems to be with external calls being transfered by the console.
The calls come in via a SIP trunk directly to the CM. As I am new to SIP trunking I am certainly new to trunking directly to the CM and do not know where to begin with this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
