Hi there

I'm trying to upgrade this device WAE-7371-K9 to the newest image that has been released because i'm getting a licensing error, and apperently a image upgrade could solf the problem.

This is the problem that I'm encountering:

License Name   Status      Activation Date Activated By

-------------- ----------- --------------- --------------

Transport      not active

Enterprise     active      12/21/2011      mtn

Video          not active

!

Accelerator     Licensed        Config State    Operational State

-----------     --------        ------------    -----------------

cifs            Yes             Enabled         Shutdown

epm             Yes             Enabled         Shutdown

http            Yes             Enabled         Shutdown

mapi            Yes             Disabled        Shutdown

nfs             Yes             Enabled         Shutdown

ssl             Yes             Enabled         Shutdown

video           No              Enabled         Shutdown

!

Accelerator     Licensed        Config State    Operational State

-----------     --------        ------------    -----------------

cifs            Yes             Enabled         Shutdown

CIFS:

   Policy Engine Config Item            Value

   -------------------------            -----

   State                                Not Registered

   Default Action                       Use Policy

   Connection Limit                     0

   Effective Limit                      0

   Keepalive timeout                    0.0 seconds

!

So I was told if I upgrade the IOS it should fix it, now i'm stuck with this issue when I'm trying to upgrade from waas-accelerator-4.4.1.12-k9.bin to waas-accelerator-4.4.3c.9-k9.bin i get this:

But I restarted the device and still no luck.

FYI - My experience and knowledge is limited on WAAS devices, only getting to know them now... Use to R&S.

Regards

Hi Andre,

Couple of things that can help you on what's going on with this WAE.

Please use following commands to get clear idea on the status of WAE.

WAE7341-1#sh  reload

No Reload Scheduled

WAE7341-1#sh version last

Saved version is WAAS 4.1.7a-b10, built on 11:13:05 Aug 16 2010 by cnbuild

It can be restored by running restore rollback command

WAE7341-1#sh version pending

No pending version

This will tell you if the WAE has got new image / installing it or any other status.

if nothing works, try realoding if you can.

if reload does nto fix it, you may want to follow recovery process:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/waas/waas/v441/configuration/guide/maint.html#wp1105252

Good luck.
