Hello,
I am trying to configure cisco ip communicator 8.6.1.0 and Cisco Unified CM Administration 8.6.1.2. But the ip communicator gets struck on " Configuring IP ". I have entered the tftp address manually and enabled option 150 on the wireless vlan (working wirelessly) but still no joy. the status messages comes with:
9:09 XML.Default.cnf.xml
9:09 File Not Found: SEP0019D27D301
9:09 CTL Update failed
any thoughts on the above

HAve you already configured your CIPC with device name as : SEP0019D27D301???

do you mean register this manually with the call manager, no i havents as i thought this shd auto register with the call manger?

Then, is auto-registration enabled on the server you're pointing the CIPC to??

think it is as i didnt set up the call manager initlially. We have deployed more than 200 ip phones so i am sure it must be on auto registration
