Hi

my company began the  transition from alcatel device to cisco CME. I activate a central syslog server for all of our cisco device, switch router and firewall. I also log everything appen on CME. In the report log i found a perseverant call attempt. This is an exctract from the log:

normally the fields cgn:,cdn: and the field PeerAddress contain the source number of the call. As you can see in my log this value are set to bcd and BCD. What BCD stands for ? I look in cisco docs but i don't find anything about this BCD. I look also in my running and startup config but there's no trace of BCD.

Thanks in advance

BCD is just a 'special' number used by the default external  MoH configuration. That in you case may be incomplete or not working. You will see it if you do "show run".

Thanks for the reply

i've checked the Moh configuration and  it's fine and working, but the log message still appear every 20 seconds in my log. I've reconfigured the Moh following the cisco documentation but this message still appear. I can't understand the meaning of the log entry. There's some docs that  can help me understand this ?

Thanks in advance.

Please read message above.

so it's right that in the log i see a call from BCD starts when nobody are using the cme ?

Thanks in advance.

If you could please read the message above and do what's indicated there.
