Is there a way of looking at a port that is not connected and see the last time the port was in use ?

Hi,

Just use the show interface command to check if a device is connected to that port. Also, look under last input and output to see when it was last used.

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPhone App

That will not give me a date and time it was last used.

Best bet is to use a monitoring software package to keep logs of the state change on the interface(s)...

Thanks,
