Cisco Unified CM User Options web page 404

I seem to be missing something very simple, but I have dived into the cisco pages and found nothing.  I want to enable the user web pages and have started to test it on one user and everytime in every browser I get 404.  When I open it in IE I at least get notified of a certificate, but then without any chance to enter credentials I get the 404 page.  The same user is able to access the directories on a phone with no trouble.  I know that I am missing something very simple, but what?

Thanks in advace for any assistance

Hi Peter,

There are some tips in this tech note

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a0080a0a426.shtml#http2

Cheers!

Rob

Thanks Rob,
I reviewed the tech notes but the section dedicated to 404 errors did not help and none of their descriptions quite matched my error message:

HTTP Status 404 - /user

type: Status report

message: /user

description: The requested resource (/user) is not available.

I have added the user to the Standard CCM End Users group and I even rebooted the server in desperation.  Still same error.

Any other options?

Hi Peter,

By any chance do you have CUCM admin open at the same time you are testing this?

I have had similar problems when accessing ccmuser when I'm working on CUCM

admin tasks.

Just a thought

Cheers!

Rob

I closed all the windows that were even related to my CUCM page, no luck.  I then reset IE and simply typed / in the address bar and I get a completely white page and the address bar changed to http://:8443/. I then change the http to https and it ask me to accept the cert or walk away from the site.  I said continue and it then gives me this error screen:

HTTP Status 404 - /user

type: Status report

message: /user

description: The requested resource (/user) is not available.

Again thanks for the idea

Peter,

I see this question is still hanging out here.  Have come across an answer yet and just haven't had a moment to update this entry?  :-)

Thanks.
