Which device is good to capture wireless beacon frames.

AirPcap or Linksys WUSB600N ver 1, ver 2 (Dual-band USB adapter)

I want to check whether AP sending WME values or not.

Your adapter selection will be driven by what software you select to sniff the traffic.

Both are good.

What software are you looking at ?

Omnipeek, airmagnet, wireshark ??

From my own experience, I would go with the 600N and Omnipeek. It will show you the WMM and 802.11e QoS values.

Which Omnipeak can capture. I have Linksys WUSB600N ver 1, ver 2 (Dual-band USB adapter)

but I tried on wireshark It doesn;'t show any 802.11 protocoal or beacon frames. Please suggest
