Hi Sindan,
You do not need to define VG IP Address on CUCM as VG - MGCP is client - server and its the client (VG) which registers to CUCM.
Since, the VG is trying to register using the loopback and you have pointed out this communication might be blocked, use the following commands on the VG to use another routable / unblocked IP Address to register and communicate with CUCM
mgcp bind control source-interface
mgcp bind media source-interface

I see that the the CUCM Gateway : AALN/S0/SU1/0@xxx.xxx.com is actually seeing an IP addreess which is configured as the loopback on the VG. The VG cannot ping the CUCM from the L0 as a source. How can I change the IP address for the VG in CUCM?

Hi
mgcp bind media source-interface x/x
mgcp bind controls source-interface x/x
The choice of IP is driven by the gateway itself, so set it there. CUCM just knows the mgcp domain name of the gateway.

Thank you all, I removed the L0 ip address and as Pratik mentioned (MGCP is a client server protocol) the VG registered with a highest physical IP address.

Ok, great, all is good i used the voice vlan ip add for binding instead of the L0.
mgcp bind control source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0.3
mgcp bind media source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0.3
