Hello
I tried to use the HDMI in on the codec (main cam in) to connect to a DVD player I have the video image of the DVD but no sound.
I read the administrator guide and can't finde any thing conserning the Audio path in the codec.
Does any know if it is possble any way.

Hi,
The audio capability for HDMI 1 for C20 is disabled.
The input designated for camera for the C-codec has the audio disabled.
There is no user command to turn it on.
You will notice this under the respective product data sheet. Example, for C20, you see under the video inputs, 1 HDMI input is specified, but under audio inputs, no HDMI input is specified.

You can try to use the HDMI input for video and the audio over RCA Input.

Hello thanks for the reactions,
I am curious if someone knows alternative ways to get an audio signal in the C20 codec.
I know that the unit has limited possibility’s.
I would like to connect more audio sources.

The C20 have Analog RCA Audio input and output. You can use a Mixer connected to the input to Mix several inputs or to choose one input at time.
Input - 2 x RCA/Phono (mixed to mono)
Output - 2 x RCA/Phono (dual mono)
Be carefoul with eco and distortions on audio. (C20 only have 1 echo canceller)
If you are designing a solution, it is better to move to a superior model.
