I just wanted to verify that it's possible to do a point to point call between two profile 42c20 units without a VCS or CUCM. They are connected via a WAN so it's just IP to IP correct?
Also, the SX20 quick set that is capable of multiway can do a multipoint call with 3 additional units without an MCU.Is that a correct statement ?

Yes that is correct.
Remember that the default configuration supplied with a Cisco C20 or SX20 will require a Gatekeeper. So you need to turn that off first. Otherwise your call attempts will fail.
