Hi guys,
I encountered again a problem with the new virtual appliance of Cisco Prime LMS 4.1.
My appliance is installed, licence embedded, and several devices added into the DCR.
If I'm going on the Inventory > Manage Device State, I can find ALL my added devices (I use hostname, without appending DNS domain).
But into the Campus Manager , for example into : Configuration > Workflows > VLAN > Port Vlan Assignment , I don't have any devices in !
Well, I tried many times to Run a Data Collection on "All Devices", but nothing more...
If I go to Admin > Collection Settings > Data Collection --> Show Devices --> Always the same devices into it ... nearly 20 devices, and I have much more than 20 devices into my network !!
How could I solve this issue please ?
It 's really annoying, because we cannot manage PORT VLAN ASSIGNMENT from LMS on the devices...
Thank a lot for your answer.
Regards,
Stephane.

When the devices don't get 'data collected' they will just not appear there
Nothing under (VTP) domain selector either then?
Not sure what could cause this. I think a problem with the ani db.
You can reinit or do a dbrestoreorig. See the forum documents for details
Cheers,
Michel

Hi Michel,
Correct !
Thank you very much for your help.
Indeed, it was an ANIdb related issue.
What I made :
[SVR-LANMGT01/root-ade init.d]# ./dmgtd stop
Daemon Management stopping. This may take a few minutes.
[SVR-LANMGT01/root-ade bin]# dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=ani dmprefix=ANI

Then with the WebUI a new Data Collection + Major Acquisition.
It has solved my problem.
Thank you.
