Solved: IOM pinning via port-channel

Hi,

It seems to me that with UCS manager 1.4 und upper, it is possible to configuration the IOM pinning via 1 port-channel.

I could not find any configuration guide about this kind of configuration.

Could you help me and/or inform me about this subject ?

Hi Nicolas,

+ The feature is avaiable only with 2.0 and the 2.0 hardware i.e. a combination of 62xx FI and the 22xx IOM.

the option is available on the same page as the chassis discovery policy page.

Equipment tab -> Select Equipment -> Policies (right) -> global Polocies -> Link Group Preference

Glad it helped Nicolas!

No specific recommendation or best practice but if you are running an environment with that particualr hardware it will be a good option to choose for all the benefits it provides.
