SPA50x and 525G Dual Registration

I noticed with the 7.4.9c firmware update that a new field exists called Dual Registration (yes/no) with each extension. A Google search turns up nothing whatsoever. What does this function do and how can it be used?

I am using DNS SRV records and I frequently have phones seemingly registering to both of my servers instead of just the highest priority server. This is intermittent and I'm not sure why it's happening. In a perfect world it would be great if the phone would register to both servers as it would make failover significantly better.

Josh,

The option for dual registration was added per a request from a specific service provider.

Please check with your ITSP if they support dual registration from a single endpoint.
