Multiple IP address on ASA Outside Interface for VPN Termination

Hi,

My requirement is to assign 2 different public ip address on ASA outside interface..

This is required as i want to form ipsec site2site vpn to this ASA using 2 different ip address from remote end ASA.

Is it possible to assign 2 IP in this way to form vpn tunnel to both IP address..

Hi,

Unless something has changed recently I don't believe you can do this.

The reason is that the tunnel must end on an IP address assigned to an interface on the ASA, and there's no ''secondary'' IPv4 addresses for the ASA.

You can accomplish this, if using two separate interfaces each one having the IP assigned.
