Dear All,
We have a intercluster trunk configured from CCM 6.0 to CCM 8.0; where some phones are registered on CCM 6.0 and other phones are registered on CCM 8.0.
When we call from phone registered on CCM 6.0 to CCM 8.0 call is happening and voice is flowing through the Trunk.
But when we try calling from phone registered on CCM 8.0 to CCM 6.0 sometimes the call is landing but voice does not flow and sometimes its just shows processing and call does not proceed.
( Both the CCM's are connected on the same zone without any firewall.)
Kindly Update what could be the problem.
Regards,
Ranjit

Hi Ranjit,
Does same zone mean they are on the same LAN, i think what Ronak meant was what are the devices in between the clusters...
Can you post call manager traces with calling called party numbers from both nodes for a bad call.
Do you have an MTP box checked on Cucm 8 side on the trunk..?

MTP box is unchecked
there is a core switch on which both the CUCM'S are connected.

Hi,
I was talking about ip routing, Just plain IP routing. As you said they are connected to core switch.
1) Do you have seperate VLAN for both the cluster. If yes Do you have proper routing between them.
2) Make sure you do not have any ACL applied between path.

Hi Kunal Satija,
The Issue got resolved after a Hard Boot of CUCM 6.0 ( this step was taken after lots of troubleshooting)
This was the same remedy which was followed when the same issue had occured from our CUCM 6.0 & Notel Call Manager.
