CUPS installation

I have a new installation of CUCM and CUPS on two UCS200 servers. I will install both CUCM and CUPS as a cluster on both UCS200 servers.

What is the recommended order to start the installation?

  1. CUCM on UCS 1
  2. CUCM on UCS 2
  3. CUPS on UCS 1
  4. CUPS on UCS 2

or

  1. CUCM on UCS 1
  2. CUPS on UCS 1
  3. CUCM on UCS 2
  4. CUPS on UCS 2

Also I want to ask from where I can download the CUPS iso. (No DVD comes with the products)

I tried to download it from cisco.com but you can download only Locale Installer, OVA Templates, and Updates.

There is no major Release to download. Shall I download the update iso?

Hi Michalis,

You can follow any order that you have mentioned for the order of installation.

Also for the media you have to contact CAM or the Local Cisco Sales Contact.

The following links may be useful for you.

I usually install CUCMs as the first piece, start with the config and then integrate with CUPS so they pull all via AXL.

There are no bootable versions on CCO, you'll need to use PUT to get media for fresh install.
