Hi,
We are running IPCCE 7.5. We are planning to use Oracle as database for nslookup. Is it possible and any cisco document for reference.

No can do from DBWorker, DBLookup. Only MS SQL Server. Table must have a single primary key.
If you have CVP it's fairly easy from CVP VXML app - create the JNDI, put the jar in place, and off you go. It has some subtle diffs to SQL calls to MS SQL Server, but all minor.

... and, if you go with IP IVR, it's easy as well, since both IP IVR 7.1 and 8.0 do support Oracle DB but make sure you've got a supported version - take a look at the UCCE compatibility guide.

Now I need to write a VXML Application to fetch the data from backend Oracle server. We are running ICME 7.5 and CVP 7. New in Java related application development in VXML. Need techies help.

I have written an extensive (more than 250 pages) self-service Studio application that talks to an Oracle database. More than 100 Oracle calls.
It's no problem to put the Oracle jar in place, set up the JNDI in the Tomcat server.xml, context.xml and use the built-in Database Element. If you are used to doing this against a MS SQL Server there are some things you may be doing in SQL that Oracle won't like, and you will have to be more precise.
Otherwise, it's normal Studio work.

Geoff
