Hi everyone, is it possible to send SNMP linkup and linkdown traps for a particular interface and that interface only?
When I configure this trap my NMS receives traps for every single interface on my device.
Please advise.

Hello! Mr. Singh,
interface GigabitEthernet1/6
logging event link-status
Command given in bold will create a UP-DOWN log for interface g1/6.

On the ports you do not want traps sent add "no snmp trap link-status" , this will stop any traps for any port that has this on the interface.
