An issue was found that affects certain Safari users accessing the OnPlus portal. Under certain circumstances described below, when attempting to view a customer's topology data, the topology does not display. At this point any action causes the browser to redirect to the OnPlus login page.
The root cause of this issue is the way Safari caches data it receives from the OnPlus portal. The topology information is handled differently in Safari than by other browsers. The first time Safari caches topology, the session becomes invalid and requires the user to login again. After the topology is cached, subsequent attempts to view are successful and no log out is experienced.
This issue has been fixed in Release 7.1 which is due on April 20. Until then the accepted workaround is to simply log back in to the OnPlus portal. We have successfully tested Internet Explorer and Chrome on the current code base. These browsers work as expected.
