Hi,
For a customer, I need to configure a Snombox PA1 on a UC560.
The PA1 is in fact a SIP-device which allows to speak on a PA-system through your phone (you just call the extension of the PA1)
Now, officially, 3rd party SIP-devices are not supported on a UC560.
With a little help on the web and this forum, I have been able to configure the UC560 via CLI and the PA1 has registered with the UC.So far, so good...
But: when I try to call the extension of the PA1, nothing happens. It seems like the UC doesn't recognize the extension 777 (as it does not appear in the CCA)
Config:
voice register global
mode cme
source-address 10.10.0.253 port 5060
max-dn 20
max-pool 10
authenticate register
date-format D/M/Y
file text
create profile sync 0615060624011404
!
voice register dn 1
number 777
allow watch
name PA
label 777
!
voice register pool 1
id mac 0004.1333.0595
number 1 dn 1
dtmf-relay sip-notify
username 777 password 12345
codec g711ulaw
I've even tried to create a dial-peer like below, but that doesn't help
dial-peer voice 5010 voip
description **** PA ****
destination-pattern 777
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:10.10.0.253
session transport tcp
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
codec g711ulaw
no vad
Anyone any insight?
Thanks!

Most likely, the device is not registering. There are various commands used to troubleshoot, if you search in "ip telephony", the matter is often discussed.
