UCCX CRS Editor Install Fails

When I try to run the CiscoUnifiedCCXEditorInstall file it get the following error. This is from a new install of UCCX 8.0. I have downloaded the file serverl times but still same result. Any help is much appericated.

Hi Sameer,

What are the client box OS details?

Please ensure that you are using the compatiable one listed in the below link,

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_compatibility/matrix/crscomtx.pdf

Did you try restarting the clisnet box and tried again?

Also please post the HRC logs from the client box, to see the exact reason for failure.

The client OS is Win 7 (Home Premium Edition)

Where do find the HRC logs.

The UCCX version is  8.0.2.10000-41

Hi Sameer,

As per the UCCX comp matrix only supported version on Windows 7 for Editor on UCCX 8.0.2.10000-41 is, Windows 7 (Ultimate).

Note:

13. Editor is not supported in 64-bit Client operating systems.

Other clientst supported are,

Editor Client OS 13:

Win XP Professional SP2

(Please check Tech Tips & Release Notes)

Win XP Professional SP3 (Please check Tech Tips & Release Notes)

Win Vista (Ultimate and Business)

Windows 7 (Ultimate)

I think the OS version I have is not supported.

Do you have the option of installing it in Troubleshoot Compatibility mode?  If you right click on the install file, you may see that as an option.
