Hello Jose,

Looking for a similar document as well, i.e. whether to choose a seperate physical network, which technology to choose such as iscsi, san or fcoe

As for your questions,  I think If data and network traffic is shared a seperate vlan for backup traffic, QoS configuration for switches, and the choice of the switches for backup network is important. The architecture of the 4500, 3560 and 2960 is done for the Campus distribution and edge requirements, but may be sufficient for your environment.  How much data do you plan to backup, and is there backup SLAs planned for the design?

Best Regards,
