Does anyone have a sample of AXL script for CUCM 8.6 to bulk add route-patterns?

So sad, need to configure over 500 route patterns.

Need something like this, but for route-pattern.

<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xm

lns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org

/2001/XMLSchema">

<SOAP-ENV:Body>

<addRouteGroup>

<routeGroup>

<name>RG-ICT-FMPREPROD-AMRSS

</name>

<dialPlanWizardGenId>0</dialPlanWizardGenId>

<members>

<deviceSelectionOrder>1</deviceSelectionOrder>

<dialPlanWizardGenId>0</dialPlanWizardGenId>

<deviceName></deviceName>

</members>

</routeGroup>

</addRouteGroup>

</SOAP-ENV:Body>

</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

Thanx in advance!

I have this problem too.

If you dont get AXL script, try import/export..Export an existing RP from CUCM or configure just one. and then edit it and add to it. Then Import it back. It works great!

You're probably better off asking over in the developer forums for AXL queries.

If you want, you could probably reverse engineer the AXL SOAP query from the WSDL.

I tend to just you SQL INSERT/UPDATEs, rather than the SOAP functions.

Yeah - if you're a developer, check the developer.cisco.com website and the forums there.

If you are not a developer you would be better off using the export function to export a 'template' route pattern you have configured manually, then copy/editing that in the exported file before importing it again.

Like this, but you will definitely want to investigate the schema def if you haven't already, and agree with the others, if you are in the dev program that forum can be very helpful:

500 RP's is a lot, are you using Standard Local Route Groups at all?
