uPRF Question!

I have been recommended to enable  Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding (uPRF) and wanted to know wheter it  should be enabled on external interface or internal interface on the  following devices:

ASA Firewall

Internet Border Router

MPLS Router, and

Catalyst 6500 switches.

According to this doc, the command is enabled by default an all devices running IOS 12.2 and later
