sbc functionality on CRS or ASR9k?

Hi all,

I was able to find an example of SBC config for IOS XR running on 12k router but I would like to know if same functionality is supported on other two IOS XR devices, i.e. CRS series or ASR 9000?

Hi Tenaro,

here CCO says SBC is supported on the CRS -

but is not yet supported on the ASR9k, thoug being considered.

IOS XR 3.7 was actually the latest version to support SBC features in CRS.

4.2 for example doesn't support it:

Cisco Session Border Controller (SBC) is not supported on any platform in Cisco IOS XR Software Release 4.2. Cisco IOS XR Software Release 3.7 is the last release that supports SBC.
