Hi,

I need one help on adding my Firewall to switch and configure the same. Can you please help me in same?

I dont want to disturb my current setup on firewall. If wanted we can add new DHCP scope on Firewall.

Current Firewall Scenario -

DHCP Server Scope - 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.254 /255.255.254.0

Current Scenario on Switch -

VLAN 1 - 192.168.0.254/255.255.248.0

VLAN 2 - 192.168.152.254/255.255.248.0

Appreciate your help !!

Sagar,

What type of firewall do you have now and what firewall are you putting in place? What's the lan ip address of the firewall and where is it in the mix of other devices that you have?

Hi John,

I have Sonicwall NSA2400 and not going to put any new firewall. LAN IP Address of Firewall is 192.168.0.1.

So, I have some server which starts from 192.168.0.2 IPs and having Subnet as 255.255.254.0.

Please suggest about routing and connecting the firewall to Switch.

Thanks,

Sagar
