ACE - Source NAT for traffic to interface IP address?

Unanswered Question

Hi,

Should it be possible to perform interface SNAT (dynamic or static) on interface ingress traffic heading to the IP address of the interface?

i.e. something along lines of: -

!

class-map CLASS_MGMT_NAT

match destination-address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.255

!

policy-map multi-match POLICY_MGMT_NAT

class CLASS_MGMT_NAT

nat dynamic 10 vlan 99

!

interface vlan 99

  ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0

  service-policy in POLICY_MGMT_NAT

  nat-pool 10 172.16.1.1 172.16.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 pat

  no shutdown

!

I tried this quickly but did not seem to work

- so checking to see if anyone else done or know if it should work before ploughing on...

tia,

Sez

I have this problem too.
