Problem Jabber Iphone CUPS 8.6

Hi,

I have an issue to activate my Jabber for iPhone.

I have CUP server in latest version 8.6

My CUCM is in version 6.5.1

And my Jabber for iPhone is the latest version.

Only error message I have is username is not valid even if I enter my real account or a fake one.

Could you advise what can be the probbem.

Try to log into CUPS User Option page (http://ip-address-of-CUP/ccmuser) with the credntials you tried to use on Jabber. See if that works.

If not, forget about iPhone/Jabber and troubleshoot from CUPS/CUCM first.

Hi Michael,

I'm using my own account which is working fine on CUPC for windows on third party client but not on my iPhone.

That's why I'm asking

Hi,

I had the cisco jabber which replace the CUPS on windows.

And I have an interesting bug that could explain why it's not working as well on iphone.

There is a bug in cisco jabber beta 2 with userid authentication for the @ character.

As I have the following error I imagine error is the same on the version for iPhone

Beta 2 has been stopepd for version beta 3 in March
