VMWARE View 5 and PCOIP through ASA 5520 8.4.2(18)

We have a working vmware view security server in our DMZ and have no problems running pcoip when directly attached to the dmz.  When accessing the view server through the outside internet we can log onto the view server and when we go to run a pcoip presented desktop we see the screen startup then after a little bit we get a disconnect message.

does anyone have a step by step pcoip setup for this asa (ports needed)

So far I have opened all (IP) and have the same result and right now I have

tcp/1688

tcp/32111

tcp/3389

tcp/4172

tcp/8099

tcp/http

tcp/https

tcp-udp/4172

Help!

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely

pj

Found this nifty blog post about setting it up:

Might have some useful information.

Paul,

You need different ports from view agent from internet to security servers on DMZ and from security servers DMZ to internal connection and desktop servers.

From internet view agent to DMZ security servers:

tcp 80

tcp 443

tcp/udp 4172

Note: RDP is tunneled through HTTPS to the security servers

from DMZ security servers to internal connection and desktops servers

To view connection servers

tcp 4001

tcp 8009

To view desktop servers

tcp 32111

tcp/udp 4172

tcp 3389

To view transfer servers if used

tcp 443

tcp 80
