Hi

I have terminated the point to point link on 3550 switch.

Is there any way to obsreve top talkers on switch

on router i have excuted the command

ip flow-top-talkers

top 200

hey leo,

i've tried this on one our 1941 but i'm getting an error. do you know what i'm missing?

1941(config)#ip flow-top-talkers

1941(config-flow-top-talkers)#sort-by bytes

1941(config-flow-top-talkers)#cache-timeout 60000

1941(config-flow-top-talkers)#exit

1941(config)#int g0/1

1941(config-if)#ip flow ingress

1941(config-if)#ip route-cache

1941(config-if)#do show ip flow top

% Top talkers not configured

Did you configure "top 200" command on 1941?

Is it supported on 3500 or 3750 ?

Hi Prashant,

3750 and 3560 switches do not support netflow, but there is a service module which can be inserted into 3750X and this supports Flexible Netflow (FNF). The commands are available but  will not work unless the module is installed.
