Dear I have uploaded the requested information in notepad

But you have not attached it here.... (never mind I have see it)

let me know what the calling and called number is

Please rate all useful posts

Please call confirm what your setup is..

ipphone--->cucm----->h323gateway..........>PSTSN

is this correct?

Is your h323 gateway showing its ip address in cucm? or is the state showing as status: unknow, ip address: unknow

it shoule be status: unknow and ipadress: x.x.x.x (where x.x.x.x=gw ip add)

From your trace, the call is not coming into gateway from cucm...I cant see any inbound call setup...

and we see this:

008049: *May 26 14:18:05.668: TCP0: Connection to 10.50.2.4:52377, advertising MSS 536

008050: *May 26 14:18:06.044: TCP0: state was SYNRCVD -> ESTAB [1720 -> 10.50.2.4(52377)]

008051: *May 26 14:18:06.044: TCB2B176FC0 accepting 30E11CC4 from 10.50.2.4.52377

008053: *May 26 14:18:06.044: TCB30E11CC4 setting property TCP keepalive timeout (17) 2B4C0104

008056: *May 26 14:18:06.244: TCP0: ACK timeout timer expired

008049: *May 26 14:18:05.668: TCP0: Connection to 10.50.2.4:52377, advertising MSS 536

So it suggests that CUCM and gateway are not talking properly

ya this setup is correct.

I can ping the CUCM from gateway as shown below:

MCTRTR#ping 10.50.2.3 sou lo10

Type escape sequence to abort.

Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 10.50.2.3, timeout is 2 seconds:

Packet sent with a source address of 10.1.210.193

!!!!!

Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 376/381/384 ms

MCTRTR#ping 10.50.2.4 sou lo10

Type escape sequence to abort.

Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 10.50.2.4, timeout is 2 seconds:

Packet sent with a source address of 10.1.210.193

!!!!!

Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 376/383/392 ms

status on cucm is status unknown and IP Address is 10.1.210.193

Even i also cant dial inside (sorry, forgot to mention)

Let me tell you...i have added one cisco phone in cucme mode and call is coming in both direction. but phones registered on cucm are unable to call in both direction

On the gateway can you try this..

telnet 10.50.2.4 1720 (to see if this port is open)

what do you get?

Is there a firewall between them? cucm and gateway?

Hello Omerpal,

Did you reload the router?

Can you reload the router if not done already.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Karthik

I cant telnet at port 1720 it must be restricted. There is no firewall between gateway and CUCM. I have configured GRE Tunnel in order to reach CUCM. This setup is also done at one site and its working fine.

I have also restarted the router, but nothing happened.

If you cant open port 1720, then that suggests that tcp port is blocked between cucm and the gateway. This  port is what they communicate on..as you can see from the trace the gateway was sending packets to the publisher on that port. You need to look at your gre-tunnel and see why this port is blocked..

I have one more site where voice is working with GRE Tunnel. Is it country dependant factor?

I dont think it is country dependent..It is just that in this scenario the port needed to work is not opened..You need to find out why and make configuration changes if need be
