CIFS accelerator keepalive failure.

Hello

This alarm comes and goes on one of our WAAS devices. It just started happening. I'm running version 4.4.1. Model is WAE-674.

The # of active CIFS connections are only 46.

What does it mean and what can I check when it shows up?

Hi John,

That kind of alarm indicates an issue with the CIFS AO process. To investigate this further, you should check the syslog and cifs ao errorlog files. There should be some indication of the failure there.

If you need help with this analysis, please, open a service request with TAC and we'll gladly assist you. If you do, please, collect a sysreport from the WAE (generated with the "WAE# copy sysreport disk " command), that will already contain all the files required to troubleshoot the issue.
