Hi,

Our customer needs two Nexus (5548 + 5020) all with FCoE. What licenses do I need for each of them, if any?

I am a bit confused:

For 5020 there are:

N5020-SSK9Nexus 5020 Storage Protocols Services   License1$24,000.00

N5020-FNPV-SSK9FCoE NPV Lic for Nexus 50201$4,800.00

For 5548:

N5548-FNPV-SSK9Nexus 5548 FCoE NPV  License1$3,200.00

Could somebody clarify please which one is the one needed?

Why is this license so expensive?

N5020-SSK9Nexus 5020 Storage Protocols Services License

Isn't it needed for the 5548?
