Routing Protocol in IP Telephony

Currently i have a 2 7845 Cluster CUCM 7.1.5 with 1500 users and i upgrading to a new CUCM 8.6 on UCS, however as i am also changing phones and some other client realte issues i need to migrate each user at a time, in other words

I remove User 1 DN 1000 in "old" cucm to new CUCM 8.6 and create a route pattern on the "old" cucm to point to the sip trunk to my new CUCM for hat user.

Is there some king of protocol (like eigrp) so both CUCM are aware of their DN and not creating router patterns for each user?

Yes, check out SAF, but I belive both clusters would need to be on version 8+. It uses EIGRP for routing.

for more details see CUCM SRND.
