What is the latest version of Data Migration Assistant (DMA) .

Customer wants to migrate his data from call manager 4.1 to 8.6.

The latest DMA version I could find was 7.1, does that work for call manager 8.6 as well ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

No, there's no way to upgrade directly from any Windows CCM version to CUCM 8.6

There's no later DMA and no, it won't work.

You need to upgrade to 7.1 and then, upgrade as necessary to 8.6

There's a ribbon on top of the main community which contains a FAQ

IP Telephony FAQs and Basics - Please read before  posting!

Which contains this:

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-13450

There's an upgrade section there, you need to review HW/SW compatibility there.

There are also hundreds of threads discussing upgrade paths on CSC.

Thanks for your quick response.

Actually they've already built a new server, so its kind of new install but now they want to know if they can migrate their data from old 4.1 to 8.6.

I've already told them there is a path to upgrade but they said its a new server with fresh install ..........and want to know if there is a way to migrate the database.

Is it possible?

Nope, best you can do is try to use bat to export as much as you can and then do some work with those csv files to make them compliant, because they will be lacking a lot of new fields that are mandatory in cucm 8.6
