softphone (xlite,csiphone or other) working with uc540 ?

I want to be able to setup a softphone on my android and have his own extension.

is it possible ?

I know that cisco jabber can only work on wifi, but i need it to be working on 3g also when i'm no at the office

Hi,

I think the official answer is NO! In the sense that a solution is not supported within the SBCS solution (CCA & co)... You should work from the CLI, you should find some old threads on http://www.uc500.com if I remember correctly!

In fact the list of things to include in the CCA should be there to support this thing or sip generic extensions (in addition to clients, other devices such as PA, etc.. SIP based)... But I would say that in general the idea behind SBCS and the like (Devices, NAS, WebCam, etc. for SMB) seem to have suffered a drastic reduction of resources... :-(
