Hi All ,

I read through the CCM SDI logs. Just want to know some info on CCM traces on acadamic purposes.

Below lines are from sdi traces of SIP trunk call.

23:30:57.392 |DET-MediaExchange-(95)::fillAudioMediaInfo, partyIdx=0, xferMode=16, codec=15, maxFramesPerPacket=30i, sRTP=0, mediaSecurity=1|1,100,56,1.942973^^SEP001EF7C2AD14

23:30:57.392 |DET-MediaExchange-(95)::fillAudioMediaInfo, partyIdx=1, xferMode=4, codec=15, maxFramesPerPacket=20i, sRTP=0, mediaSecurity=1|1,100,56,1.942973^^SEP001EF7C2AD14

I don't know what xferMode means since I've never used it's value for any trace reading or problem solving that I can remember.  The party1DTMF mode values indicate, prefer2833 which is the DTMF preference, then 2833 indicating support for 2833 only, followed by the 2833 payload type, followed by 1 which means True that the endpoint wants DTMF reception.

Hi

Xfer Mode 16 :- must be for the SIP.

Xfer Mode basically tells method of telling other CCM subsystems what types of
devices the RTP audio connection is between.

For Example :- 3 is for H323_MODE , 4 for Agena , 7 for H323

I hope this helps

Hello,

I cannot remember these values from the top of my head. But these values can be given to you in detail if you ask a TAC engineer.

xFermode refers to the phone protocol type. If I recollect right, 4 is Agena (SCCP Phone).

Party1DTMF( 3 2 101 1 0) --> crucial values are black, red, green

BLACK: The preferred dtmf method --> 3 --> RFC2833 + OOB

RED: The supported DTMF method --> 2 --> RFC2833

GREEN: The DTMF RTP Payload in case we support in band DTMF. --> 101 -->RFC 2833 Payload 101

party2DTMF: 1 --> OOB .. 3 --> RFC2833+OOB, 0 --> No in band DTMF specific payload

The preferred DTMF method generally takes values from the Preferred DTMF check box in SIP Trunk --> i.e. No Preference, RFC2833 (101 payload), RFC2833 + OOB
