Are 887VAM-W-E-K9 and 800-IL-PM2 compatible? We have got both of them but it seems that router has a 30W power source and module has a 80W power source.

Is there any document to clarify this? Thanks!

Hi Alicia,

PoE option comes in two parts on 880 routers, the PoE daughter board and a separate power supply.  According to the guide:

"The Cisco 880 series ISRs can include  an optional PoE module that provides power to 802.3af-compliant devices  connected to ethernet ports 0 and 1. If this feature was not configured  with the factory order, SKU 800-IL-PM-2, you must order and install it  to enable the PoE function. The PoE power supply, SKU 800-ILPM-4, is  also required. "

Kind Regards,
Ivan
