catalyst 500 express switch , how to discover ?

is there a discover tool for such a switch, i forgot the assigned ip , i know very very stupid.

- whats the user network segment of your switch?

- do you implement separate network management for all cisco devices? if yes, whats this network segment?

perhaps if youre in a critical time, resetting the config will do:

Hi jillesmiedema,

If you connect to the switch and use a packet sniffer such as wireshark you should be able to determine the ip address by reading the info in the CDP packets (given that CDP hasn't been disabled).
