Hi,
We are trying to import a File based Phonebook in to a Manual List Phonebook source using Onetime import option.
We want to have manual control over phone books and dont want to use - TMS Endpoints type Phonebook source.
My Filebased Phonebook do show the contacts.
Now when i try to Connect this form Manual List, is see it is showing contact imported successfully.
But no cantacts could be see in View Contacts.
Event Log shows nothing is there to be updated.
Please suggest, if i am missing anything here.

I just added a phonebook with your file and successfully updated a manual phonebook with a one time import.
As the entry has an "externalId" I assume its generated by a an other phonebook which has set up this
file as a source with import and export.
Can you remove the string "TMS[{DD57666A-2881-48DA-9FAB-02957DB17810}1]" from the file, upload it again
and see if the error still remains?
If it does you might want to escalate the case to Cisco TAC.

In general, that should not be an issue. Tried it here with TMS 13.1.2 and 13.2.1 and it worked fine,
the manual list showed the content of the file based phonebook.
Whats your TMS version, as it looks like a test phonebook, please share phonebook file the file with us
and make screenshots of the settings of the file based and manual phonebook.

thx for the feedback, thats important, so +5 for you as well!
If you have larger files you can also import the file in your spreadsheet program (excel, openoffice, ...)
and just remove the complete externalid column)
