I'm using a 2511 as my access server and recently on startup I'm recieving the following output

Press RETURN to get started.

If I press enter the string repeats. I'm using the router in my home lab for training for my CCNA. I can enter a command ie; "enable" but they look as follows:

e[SERIAL-TRACE] : COMM-EVENT [tx]

n[SERIAL-TRACE] : COMM-EVENT [tx]

a[SERIAL-TRACE] : COMM-EVENT [tx]

b[SERIAL-TRACE] : COMM-EVENT [tx]

l[SERIAL-TRACE] : COMM-EVENT [tx]

e[SERIAL-TRACE] : COMM-EVENT [tx]

Router#[SERIAL-TRACE] : COMM-EVENT [tx]

I've googled for a resolution but haven't found a way to get the prompt back without the extra verbage. System was working find and had been shutdown for a few weeks. If I have posted this in the wrong queue please pardon my N00bness.
