I am running version 7 on both my Unity servers.

? Do I need COBRAS just to remove a user from one Unity server and move them to another .

All servers are part of the same LAN = IP connectivety.

All servers interface to a common AD domain (LAPD).

No, unless you migrate the messages. If you don't need to preserve the messages then simply delete it on one Unity and build on another. if messages need to be preserved then COBRAS is what you want.
