I have this real specific issue with iphones from carrier au (kddi) in Japan.
1. Outbound calls to KDDI iphones from cisco voip do not connect the caller to the mobile carrier voicemail ONLY if the iphone user presses the decline/reject button on the incoming call display screen.
2. Issue does not occur to other carrier iphones such as those from Softbank or even non-iphone mobile phones on KDDI.
3. Reason it may still be cisco issue is that the issue is not reproducible when calling the KDDI iphone from another mobile carrier.
My Japan IT guy mentions that in the Japan cisco tac center, they know of this issue, but I cannot reach the Japan center directly and only the global cisco tac team. Have anyone heard of this issue and any possible workarounds?
