CUSP network module

We have a 39xx router with a CUSP network module in it.  Recently I have noticed that if the router gets rebooted, the network module does not come back up until we log into the router and try to session into the module.  When we do this, then I seeing booting messages appear and shortly thereafter the module is up and running again.  Is there something I should be doing that would make this module automatically boot with the router?

Any of the sre modules that run their own os should be shut down gracefully before you reload the router. You risk corruption otherwise. They are basically little servers. Reset = yanking the power.

Try a graceful shutdown the reload and see how you go.
