Kashish,

I do not think this feature is available in ISE, usually the traps that are sent for cold starts and warm starts..etc. However, I can not find any documentation regarding the snmp library for ISE management.

It would be best to get confirmation from TAC.

Thanks,

You can do this within the ADE-OS command line of the appliances/VM.  Of course, the traps are relevant to the local device.

All of the standard SNMP commands are there.

ISE supports a limited number of SNMP MIBs. They are documented here.

You can send traps and poll ISE via SNMP. ISE does offers a robust set of alarms that can be configured that should provide what you are looking for.

You can configure alarms to send syslogs or email alerts but no SNMP traps. Think of ISE more like a server an less like a network switch. Most of my customers end up using alerts over SNMP.

How to configure ISE to RECEIVE SNMP traps and how to see it on ISE console/GUI?
