Hi,

As Reza suggested, that document would be a good start to understand how the conversion process happens. Another option you have is to use the Cisco EDI CatOS to IOS conversion tool. I used this some 3 years back if i remember correctly which involved migration of around 50 6500's & this tool helped a lot.

Though some manual intervention was required post conversion that time, not sure how things have been changed now with this tool. Do give a try & let me know as well.
